I’m a justice-loving nerd from the prettiest city on earth, San Diego, California. I come from a family obsessed with doors- mostly made up of locksmiths and door hardware experts (and my dear mother who puts up with them all). In addition to an unusually large amount of experience with door parts, I've worked with social justice and faith-based projects for over half of my life. I researched and wrote the book, God Loves Justice, out of a passion for Christians to connect to God’s own heart for justice.

True to my nerdy self, I graduated from UC San Diego with degrees in Biology and International Studies. I live in Los Angeles, California with my wonderful husband, Stephen, and work in public education.
